Usually not: CaptureGem records public shows for most sites without one. Each guide points out exceptions, such as Chaturbate's sign-in and age checks in some regions or the prompts XCams can show in CaptureGem's own XCams window.
Finished recordings are converted into MP4 files by default. Open the Review tab to play, trim, tag or delete them, or click Open Video Folder on the Record tab.
