CaptureGem saves public LiveJasmin shows to your computer through its desktop app. You can record as a guest, but LiveJasmin stops guest viewing after about 90 seconds, so sign in to LiveJasmin inside CaptureGem to record longer. This guide walks you from installing the app to finding the saved video.
Free to start, and the same steps on Windows, macOS and Linux.
CaptureGem is free to download and use, with no account needed. Download CaptureGem for Windows, macOS or Linux and open the desktop app.
If you already have CaptureGem, update to the latest version. Leave the CaptureGem window open while recording: CaptureGem records LiveJasmin in a hidden, muted browser window inside the desktop app, so the standalone recorder can't record LiveJasmin by itself.
Example link
https://www.livejasmin.com/en/chat/model_usernameOpen the model's room and copy the address from the browser bar. The username is whatever follows chat/, and links ending in #!chat/model_username are accepted as well.
The names and numbers in these examples are placeholders; use the ones from the real page.
Go to the Record tab and paste the link into Enter URL or Username in the Add Stream panel; CaptureGem switches Select Website to LiveJasmin on its own. Prefer typing? Pick LiveJasmin under Select Website and enter just the model username.
Keep Monitor Only switched off so the stream is saved, then click Add Stream.

If you aren't signed in when your first LiveJasmin recording starts, CaptureGem shows Sign in for longer LiveJasmin recordings (once each time you open the app). Click Sign in to LiveJasmin, sign in to your LiveJasmin account in the window that opens inside CaptureGem, close that window, and restart your LiveJasmin recordings so they use the signed-in session.
Continue as guest records without an account, but LiveJasmin only lets a guest watch for about 90 seconds, and restarting the recording doesn't reset that limit. To sign in later or switch accounts, right-click any LiveJasmin model on the Record tab and choose Manage LiveJasmin login.
Signing in with your regular web browser doesn't sign in CaptureGem. LiveJasmin decides how long a sign-in lasts, so if the notice comes back, sign in again.
LiveJasmin recordings take longer to start than on most sites: CaptureGem opens the room in a hidden browser window and waits up to 45 seconds for video, so the row shows Activating for a while before it switches to Recording. Otherwise the Status column explains why:
Hover over a status for more detail, such as the reason behind an Errored status.
When a recording finishes, CaptureGem converts it into a video file; long recordings can take a little while. Open the Review tab to play, trim, tag or delete it, or click Open Video Folder on the Record tab.
Recordings are MP4 files by default. With Premium, each file runs up to 60 minutes by default and auto-record starts the next one straight away. You can change the save location, the file length (Cap Video Segments at Duration (Minutes)) and the container in Settings.
The free version saves up to 5 minutes per recording and lets you add up to 10 models. It records a model when you add or start them while they are live, so if the model was offline, start the recording again later.
Premium removes those limits and adds auto-record: select the model on the Record tab, choose Modify Auto Record under Actions and pick Record Always. CaptureGem then records whenever the model comes online and restarts after a disconnect. To do this for every model you add, turn on Auto Record All Newly Added Models in Settings.
The Monitor tab shows live previews of everything you are recording.
Compare the free version and PremiumAn error about LiveJasmin's guest viewing limit of about 90 seconds means LiveJasmin stopped the video for a guest. The video captured until then is kept and converted. Right-click a LiveJasmin model, choose Manage LiveJasmin login, sign in and restart the recording.
When no video arrives for 30 seconds, for example because the model ended the show or went private, the recording ends normally and the video is kept and converted as usual.
Update CaptureGem to the latest version. It recognizes offline and private models within about 12 seconds and keeps the hidden LiveJasmin page silent.
No public video arrived in time. Check that the show plays in your browser, then try again.
CaptureGem asks LiveJasmin's player for its best quality, up to 2160p. To save bandwidth and disk space, set a LiveJasmin limit under Max Resolution Per Site in Settings > Advanced Settings. CaptureGem requests 480p, 720p, 1080p, 1440p or 2160p, and limits below 480p use 480p. Not every stream offers every quality.
If a recording keeps failing, update CaptureGem, check that the stream plays in your browser, and ask in our Discord community. Premium members can also send a failed recording to support.
Download CaptureGem for free and follow the steps above to add your first stream.
