CaptureGem saves available public Superlive broadcasts to your computer. This guide walks you from installing the app to finding the saved video.
Free to start, and the same steps on Windows, macOS and Linux.
CaptureGem is free to download and use, with no account needed. Download CaptureGem for Windows, macOS or Linux and open the desktop app.
Use the latest release. Superlive support is included in both the free version and Premium; your plan only changes the recording limits and automation. Leave the CaptureGem window open while recording: CaptureGem records Superlive in a hidden, muted browser window inside the desktop app, so the standalone recorder can't record Superlive by itself.

Livestream links such as https://superlive.chat/livestream/123456 work too: CaptureGem traces the broadcast back to its owner's permanent profile ID.
The names and numbers in these examples are placeholders; use the ones from the real page.
Go to the Record tab and paste the link into Enter URL or Username in the Add Stream panel; CaptureGem switches Select Website to Superlive on its own. Prefer typing? Pick Superlive under Select Website and enter just the profile ID.
Keep Monitor Only switched off so the stream is saved, then click Add Stream.

Watch the stream's row on the Record tab: it switches to Recording once a public stream is available. An offline or unavailable stream won't produce a video until it comes back.
Hover over a status for more detail, such as the reason behind an Errored status.
When a recording finishes, CaptureGem converts it into a video file; long recordings can take a little while. Open the Review tab to play, trim, tag or delete it, or click Open Video Folder on the Record tab.
Recordings are MP4 files by default. With Premium, each file runs up to 60 minutes by default and auto-record starts the next one straight away. You can change the save location, the file length (Cap Video Segments at Duration (Minutes)) and the container in Settings.
The free version saves up to 5 minutes per recording and lets you add up to 10 models. It records a model when you add or start them while they are live, so if the model was offline, start the recording again later.
Premium removes those limits and adds auto-record: select the model on the Record tab, choose Modify Auto Record under Actions and pick Record Always. CaptureGem then records whenever the model comes online and restarts after a disconnect. To do this for every model you add, turn on Auto Record All Newly Added Models in Settings.
The Monitor tab shows live previews of everything you are recording.
Compare the free version and PremiumA display nickname isn't a profile ID. Use the number from the profile address.
Open the broadcaster's profile and add the profile link instead. Recording only starts while a public broadcast is available.
If a recording keeps failing, update CaptureGem, check that the stream plays in your browser, and ask in our Discord community. Premium members can also send a failed recording to support.
Download CaptureGem for free and follow the steps above to add your first stream.
