On macOS, open the .dmg file, drag CaptureGem into your Applications folder and open it from there. On Linux, extract the archive, make the AppImage executable with chmod +x and start CaptureGem with the included launcher.sh.
If Windows SmartScreen warns you, click More info, then Run anyway. When Windows Firewall asks, allow CaptureGem.exe and recorderd.exe.

Next, navigate to the Chaturbate page featuring the model you want to record. Take note of the model's username, which can be found in the URL.
Chaturbate usernames are typically displayed prominently on the model's page and are easy to find. They appear in the browser URL and in the page header.
Make sure you have access to the model's stream before attempting to record. Some models may have private shows or require tokens for access.
Start Recording Model
You can now paste the Chaturbate room link or username into the Enter URL or Username field in CaptureGem. The application will automatically detect and connect to the stream.
Press "Add Stream" and the recording will start immediately if the model is live. Double-check the spelling of the username.
